Job description
1. Maintain complete and systematic records of the company’s asset accounts, including recording, adjustments, disposals, tagging, and verifying the book value of assets.
2. Prepare and maintain a fixed asset register, ensuring accurate and up-to-date asset movements in the system according to accounting standards.
3. Coordinate periodic physical asset counts, analyze and prepare reports comparing accounting records with actual count results.
4. Coordinate with internal departments to provide accurate and complete asset-related information.
5. Calculate depreciation, record depreciation expenses, and make related monthly accounting entries.
6. Prepare asset reports and supporting details for financial statements at the end of each month.
7. Review and ensure accuracy of procurement records and the addition/reduction of assets in the accounting system.
8. Prepare reconciliation reports to support the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and related reports.
9. Prepare data and documentation for external auditors and government authorities during audits.
10. Perform other assigned tasks and resolve any issues that arise effectively.
Applicant qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 1–2 years of experience in asset accounting (experience in manufacturing or BOI-promoted companies will be an advantage).
3. Knowledge of accounting principles related to fixed assets and depreciation.
4. Detail-oriented with good document and data management skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., ERP, Express, TR Cloud, etc.) is an advantage.
6. Positive team attitude, ability to work under pressure, and strong coordination skills with various departments.
