Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Develop and manage engineering department budgets and strategic plans in alignment with corporate policies and organizational goals.
Operations Management: Direct, supervise, and monitor departmental operations to ensure all strategic plans are executed successfully.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Oversee and ensure comprehensive maintenance planning for all factory machinery. Supervise the Maintenance Department Head in developing PM schedules, establishing system standards, and providing technical training to align with production processes.
Corrective Maintenance: Manage and take responsibility for machinery repair planning. Direct the Maintenance Department Head to standardize repair procedures, enhance troubleshooting knowledge, and ensure minimal impact on production.
Project Management: Lead project planning and execution by delegating to the Project Department Head. This includes process improvements, efficiency enhancement, cost reduction, drafting, and cost estimation, ensuring all projects meet company standards and production requirements.
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present monthly engineering performance reports and statistics to senior management.
People Development: Manage and develop personnel through continuous training to increase competency and ensure cross-functional workforce capabilities (succession planning).
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze causes, solutions, and preventive measures for system interruptions and breakdowns, providing formal recommendations to supervisors.
Standard Compliance: Manage and drive compliance with ISO, GMP, Safety, 5S, RSPO Supply Chain, and Energy Conservation initiatives to achieve organizational quality targets.
Ad-hoc Assignments: Perform other duties as assigned by executive management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering management.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, maintenance management, and project management.
Core Skills: Strong technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Instrumentation engineering and industrial machinery repair.
Leadership: Proven track record in leadership, people management, strategic planning, and budget administration.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, AI tools, and relevant engineering software.
