13 December 2023 BOI Surat Thani Organizes Activity to Promote Southern Entrepreneurs to BCG to Address Environmental Issues in Southern Industries Route: Chachoengsao-Samut Prakan-Bangkok-Pathum Thani

13 -15 December 2023 Ms. Rabeab Sokharat, Director of the Board of Investment (BOI) in Surat Thani Province, led a team of Southern entrepreneurs on a study tour to exchange, link, and drive industries in the Southern region to address production, waste management, and environmental issues towards BCG. The tour visited target industries under the BCG concept in Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, Bangkok, and Pathum Thani. Thirty people were interested in the study tour. The activity was organized to encourage Southern entrepreneurs to change their production processes and waste management to reduce environmental impact, in line with the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) concept. The BOI has promoted investment in target industries under the BCG concept to create economic value and reduce environmental impact. In addition, the entrepreneurs exchanged trade and investment ideas with local entrepreneurs to enhance knowledge and investment opportunities.
