Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB)
EFB is a by-product obtained after steaming and threshing the fresh palm fruit. It refers to the empty husks left after the palm fruit is removed. EFB can be sold to buyers who use it as a biomass fuel or as fertilizer for agricultural purposes.
